  This story begins two years before the construction of the Eiffel Tower. Paris was becoming the center of world creation. French gastronomy had exploded and attracted the curiosity of gourmets and chefs from all over the world.      

  The increasingly sophisticated desserts have become mandatory gastronomic symbols for special occasions. A visionary entrepreneur, ETIENNE GOBEL, bet on the fact that the pastry craze was just beginning, so he started producing cake tins from copper and zinc sheet. The success was immediate and international.

  60 years later, France is in full reconstruction process. Vegetables are back on people's tables, especially potatoes. Having become one of the pearls of French gastronomy in the 19th century, its return was awaited by restaurateurs. One of them asked a mechanic friend to design a device to make the preparation of the mash easier. LOUIS TELLIER accepted the challenge and invented the world's first professional food mortar - a revolution in the kitchen! A brilliant inventor, former navigator and veteran of the First World War, he would have recorded multiple achievements in his factory in the suburbs of Paris.

  LOUIS TELLIER continues to play an important role in the great history of French gastronomy through its innovations and through its two iconic brands: LOUIS TELLIER for food preparation and cutting equipment and GOBEL for utensils and shapes of baking.
